My family and I spent our "Dedeka Day" (this is Madihah's way of saying Merdeka day) shopping for a vacuum cleaner. We went to Ikano Power Center at Mutiara Damansara. Oh my gosh! The place was jammed packed with people. We had to wait for almost half an hour to get a parking space.
We went to Harvey Norman and checked out the Vacuum Cleaner section. There's varieties of vacuum cleaners for us to choose. Haha... my hubby and I can't decide which one to choose. Initially, we planned to buy a wet and dry vacuum for our house. This is due to lots of dust in our house...hehehe Secondly, my two daughters are easily infected by cough and flu and this will lead to lots of phelgm. That's why we want to minimise this.
After much discussion with hubby, we decided to buy sort of a 3 in 1 wet and dry vacuum plus air purifier. This is a way bit expensive but hey... we still have to buy this later. So why don't we buy it now and not stuck up with a vaccum cleaner and air purifier which will cramp up our small house.
Since this is "Mega Sale Carnival", we managed to get a discount and a free gift of "Delonghi Toaster" worth RM100 plus. I'm happy with the free gift because I don't have a toaster at home but this toaster is "canggih" one. It has this "defrost" function. Just look at the price. If I was given a choice, I'm not wasting that much money to buy it. Now, let's go make my garlic bread. Hmmm.. yummy!!
While at Harvey Norman, I met my ex-colleague at Petronas which I have not met for the last 10 years. I saw Asfa and her son and went to talk to her. It was such a surprise and I'm happy that she still remember me. Asfa, you still look the same.
After paying for our purchase, we went straight home as my little girl Hannah was feeling restless and gave a loud wail. We have to go home as I didn't bring along her formula and we didn't want to be the center of attention.
I need to go back to Ikano Power Center again some other time as I have not explored yet the place. Only managed to go to Ikea once a few months back.

Appointment with Doctor
2nd September 2004
I had an appointment with my doctor at Ampang Puteri today. Went to see him for follow up which is due after my delivery. I was worried sick because I have this back pain for quite sometimes for almost a month. Didn't told my hubby about it. He was mad at me when I told him at the last minutes. I'm not sure whether he noticed that I'm not my usual self lately. Been thinking a lot about it.
We were at the doctor's office at 8.30 am. I told the doctor about my back pain. He then asked me to go for an x-ray. Managed to get number 001 at the Imaging Department. Waited quite some time for the people to call out for my number. Did my x-ray and waited outside. I thought this is okay. But hey, I was wrong. They called me again and asked me to do another x-ray. They said they have to get the x-ray done at another angle. I really hate to do it again. Why didn't they get their job right for the first time. I saw that their changing room now provides mirror. It's much easier for people like me who wear head scarf to put on our head scarf back.
Finally get my x-ray results, after waiting for almost 2 hours although I got this number 001. I expect to get a fast result because of the darn number. Went back to the doctor's clinic with the results. He said that there's nothing to worry as this is just a normal back pain. He prescribed me with some painkillers and told me to come again next week on Sept 9. I thank God for this good news!

My kids
Hari ni sebelum pergi kerja, Madihah nampak Hannah, the 4 months baby sister tengah tidur. Dia cakap dengan abah dia.. "Abah, gigi Hannah patah?" Then, abah told her "Tak patah lah.. Hannah baby lagi, dia mana ada gigi. Gigi Hannah belum tumbuh lagi." She said " Ooooo" seems like she understands that.
Masa nak mandikan Ihsan before he went to play school, dia tanya abah dia " Abah, Madihah cuti mandi ya?". Kelakar pun ada. Mandi mana ada cuti. That's how the kids think.
I think what Ihsan meant was kenapa Madihah tak mandi pagi and abah said "Madihah mandi tapi Madihah mandi kat sekolah. Pagi-pagi ni sejuk, tak elok untuk Madihah".
Sekarang ni, Madihah suka sangat menyanyi. Last night, on our way back to KL, masa lalu Bukit Putus, we had a sing along with her sebab takut dia muntah. Terpaksalah menyanyi lagu "Twinkle twinkle little star", " I Love you" "Burung Kakak Tua", "Buai Laju Laju" and etc.
I really like to hear dia nyanyi "Buai Laju-Laju". She learns this song from the nursery sebab I never teach her this song.

My hubby said that I should hafal all the kids song sebab bila sing along with her, kami semua tak tahu lirik so nyanyi jerlah apa yang ingat.
Hannah pulak sekarang ni suka sangat put her fingers into her mouth. Not just one finger but all of it insider her mouth. Siap bunyi-bunyi lagi when she licks her fingers. Tak tahu nak buat apa dah. When my hubby pegang tangan dia tak kasi hisap jari. Dia punya lah marah and give a loud wail as protest.

My first postings
Yipeee.... Finally I got my own blog. This is my first postings and I don't know what to write. Okay, today is a working day and mostly my colleagues are on leave as this is a school holiday and every body is taking this chance to bring their family for a holiday. I'm not taking any leave on August 30th as my hubby is working. So there's no point of taking any annual leave.
I'm looking forward for Sept 5 as that will be my 5th wedding anniversary. I don't have any plans yet on how to celebrate it as my 3 kids is still small and I don't have any helpers to help me. Will think of something later, later. he he he...
Yesterday on our way home in the car, my daughter Madihah was sneezing.... and she said "Ummi, Adia batuk achhhuuum". My hubby and I was smiling to each other when we heard that and I said "Bukan batuk, sayang tapi bersin". But my cutie pie Madihah insist that she is "batuk achuummm" instead of "bersin". There's no point of arguing with her as she always wants to win. There's so much to talk about her. But will post it later here.
Till now. Roger and out :)
